Sexual Health Screening Day – February 2023

Our highly sought-after sexual health screening day made a triumphant return this summer, themed “Hot Summer.” In collaboration with the Terrence Higgins Trust and the All-East Sexual Health Clinic, we specifically targeted young adults.

Comprehensive sexual health screenings for HIV, syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea were conducted and we are thrilled to report overwhelming patient participation, echoing the success of our previous event. The positive response from our patients reaffirms the importance of these services. We extend sincere thanks to the All-East Sexual Health Clinic for their continued support, ensuring the success of our screening days. Together, we are dedicated to promoting a health-conscious community.

Our community events form part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the NHS 10 Year Health Plan and reducing health inequalities within our patient population.
Through health awareness events, screening promotion, education and community engagement, we aim to reach patients who may face barriers to accessing healthcare, improve awareness of available services and encourage earlier prevention and intervention.
Our work supports the NHS ambition to move from sickness to prevention, provide more care within local communities and ensure that patients have fair and equitable opportunities to improve their health and wellbeing.
