Men’s Mental Health Day- June 2025
Our Men’s Mental Health focused on raising awareness of the mental health challenges that can affect men and the stigma that can sometimes prevent them from seeking support. We shared information about the mental health services available and encouraged open conversations around emotional wellbeing.
The event also promoted men’s physical health, including the importance of regular testicular self-checks, recognising possible warning signs, and discussing prostate health and PSA testing where appropriate.
Our community events form part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the NHS 10 Year Health Plan and reducing health inequalities within our patient population.
Through health awareness events, screening promotion, education and community engagement, we aim to reach patients who may face barriers to accessing healthcare, improve awareness of available services and encourage earlier prevention and intervention.
Our work supports the NHS ambition to move from sickness to prevention, provide more care within local communities and ensure that patients have fair and equitable opportunities to improve their health and wellbeing.
