Appointments
Routine appointments
We operate an appointment system. You can book a routine appointment by calling the surgery or via online access. You can ask for a particular doctor or nurse, but we can not guarantee your choice will be available. For more than one problem, please ask for a double appointment. For emergency appointments, please call or walk in at 8:00am. These appointments are on a first come first serve basis.
Telephone Consultations
You do not need a face to face consultation for a sick note, letter, referral query, medication query, test results etc. You can book a telephone consultation with a GP or use our online services. This will help us to provide access to patients who require those appointments to see a clinician.
Cancelling your appointment
There is a high demand for appointments, therefore we politely ask you to let us know if you no longer require or are unable to attend your appointment so we can offer the appointment to another patient. Sometimes, doctors or nurses are unable see patients because some people don’t let us know when they won’t be able to make their appointments. This results in many wasted hours. We have the right to remove patients who persistently fail to attend booked appointments from our list.
Home Visits
We will make home visits to those who are housebound or too unwell to attend the surgery. If possible, please contact us in the morning before 11am to arrange a same day home visit. The GP will call and triage prior to the visit.
